Guidelines

If you're new to Paper Lovers Studio, welcome! Please take a moment to read over our guidelines before you start entering challenges. Following these will help everything run smoothly for all of us!

  • Challenge entries should be brand new projects! We try very hard to inspire you and we really want to see what you make as a result of our challenges, rather than things you've already posted elsewhere.
  • Each challenge post will include a closing date specific to that challenge.
  • You may enter up to two projects in each challenge.
  • You may enter the same project in up to two different challenges.
  • Feel free to combine our challenges with challenges from other websites! (Just be sure to follow all of their guidelines, too!)
  • Many of our challenges are completely open to interpretation, so link up whatever you've been inspired to make - even if the challenge was a layout sketch and you made a card or a mixed media project.
  • Please feel free to upload any projects inspired by our challenges to our Flickr group, but remember that you must link up to the challenge post in order to be considered to win.
  • When challenges close, we will make a post highlighting some of our favorite entries. In the event of a sponsored challenge, a prize winner will be randomly selected from all the challenge entries.
If you have any questions at all, please email us!

  1. Hi--

I came across you totally by accident--I was looking for new challenge site, and found you gals! Looks great! I am just looking for deadlines for the current challenge, and which challenge is it this week, etc. Can you help? Thanks--can't wait to play!

  2. Hi Laura!
Each challenge post has a linky tool at the bottom which say how many days until it expires. We post the winners of the challenges every other Friday so that each challenge has at least a week until it closes.
Last week's challenges (the Mini Album challenge and the Inspired By... Challenge will close on the 13th.)

Does that make sense? Any other questions? Thanks for stopping by our blog! :)
